Coronavirus (COVID-19) Message

We continue to do our part to minimize the spread of COVID-19. Vitran is currently running normally, with zero impact to our operations, capacity and transit times. We are here to do our part and keep our Country's supply chain moving. We have taken measures to move as many employees as possible to remote work. We have also now made signing for deliveries optional, so receivers can decline signing a Proof of Delivery. Drivers will note the date & time, receivers name, and indicate "COVID" on the POD for future reference. We have restricted business travel and will carry out customer facing meetings via web & phone conferencing whenever possible.

COVID-19 Update regarding E-billing and Electronic Payment

Dear Valued Customers,

At Vitran Express Canada Inc., we are actively monitoring the changing situation around COVID-19 and are taking measures to protect the health and safety of our employees.

We have taken measures to move as many employees as possible to remote work, and we understand that many of our customers have done the same. In light of the current situation, we strongly encourage you to sign up for E-billing and Electronic Payment.

Due to the concern of COVID-19 potentially spreading on physical surfaces, people should use contactless technology, where possible. If you are receiving paper invoices, please contact your Credit Representative to sign up for E-billing. Furthermore, we urge you to move from paper cheques, to a form of Electronic Payment. Please contact your Credit Representative to set up EFT, ACH or wire payment.

We understand our customers are concerned during this uncertain time and want to assure you of our commitment in providing uninterrupted service. We are considered an essential service and, as such, it is critical that we are paid in a timely manner in order to keep our business operations flowing. Please note that you will be responsible for keeping your account in good standing, regardless of mailing disruptions.
